They just seem to do it for fun or out of habit, and it can really get on my nerves, whether it happens to me or I see it happen to someone else. I also severely dislike hypocrites, especially habitual hypocrites. Everyone has there times of hypocracy, but some people ARE hypocracy. They are the people that say " You need to grow up!" then turn around and do something so immature that you want to slap them and go...."You were saying?" My favorite (or least favorite depending on how you look at it) are people that think their problems are the worst of humanities problems no matter how small the problem is and think everyone should feel sorry for them, and they let you know this. Honestly, something drastic may need addressing, but very few people care if you failed a test... buck up and do better on the next one instead of acting like it is a national emergency. There are many more...as with anyone...but these are the ones that can really get on my nerves.

First blog ever...

My experience with researching is, in my typical college freshman attitude, more than I would like. I had no choice in the professor I had for my first semester, and as a tribute to my luck, I get the hardest professor. I had done papers and research in high school and had done well, A's and B's for the most part, but nothing prepared me for this. I went to class the first day and when going over the syllabus, I notice a 15 page research assignment... discussion and all. At first it was a shock, and then it hit me...man, that is a long and complicated paper, especially for a first semester freshman with no expierence. However, as the semester went on, the professor taught us tips and gave us advice that ultimately helped me pass. I must admit one thing, it was a shock and a bit of a trial by fire, but all and all i feel more prepared overall for 102 because of it.
